Classroom Magazine Rack

This custom classroom display cabinet was designed around the way students actually use a reading space. The upper section features multiple angled display shelves, making a wide variety of magazines easy to see and accessible to young readers. Rather than simply storing books away, the open display encourages students to browse, explore, and discover something new.

Below the magazine display, generous shelving provides organized storage for a large collection of books, while the larger open areas along the bottom accommodate oversized books, classroom materials, and other items that don’t fit easily on standard shelves.

Constructed from high-quality birch plywood and thoughtfully trimmed with walnut, the cabinet combines the durability needed for an active classroom with the warmth and character of fine woodworking. Every element was designed with both function and longevity in mind—creating a piece that serves the classroom today and is built to remain useful for years to come.
