Purchasing

At Spruce Place Woodcraft, customers may conveniently purchase any of our handcrafted pieces directly through our online catalog. Once an order is placed and processed, we will provide a confirmation along with an estimated production and delivery timeframe.

 

In addition to our catalog offerings, we proudly accept custom furniture commissions. Custom projects may include modifications to an existing design or a completely original piece created specifically to meet your vision and needs. Due to the personalized nature of custom work, a 50% deposit is typically required to secure your project’s place in our production schedule. The remaining balance is due prior to shipping or at the time of pickup.

 

We welcome the opportunity to discuss your ideas and collaborate on creating a one-of-a-kind piece that reflects your style and craftsmanship expectations.

Lead Time

Each furniture piece is handcrafted to order with careful attention to detail and quality craftsmanship. Standard lead times for custom furniture typically range from 6–12 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and current shop schedule.

 

Smaller handcrafted items generally ship within one week of purchase. From time to time, we may also have select pieces available in inventory that are ready for immediate shipment or pickup.

 

If you require your order within a shorter timeframe, expedited production may be available on a case-by-case basis depending on current workload and material availability. Please note that expedited orders are subject to an additional fee.

Cancellation

We understand that circumstances may occasionally require changes to an order. Customers may cancel an order within 48 hours of purchase; however, a $75 processing fee will apply to cover administrative and transaction costs.

 

Once production has begun, orders may still be canceled, but a 25% restocking and materials fee will be deducted from any eligible refund. Due to the personalized nature of custom furniture and the reservation of production time and materials, deposits for custom orders are non-refundable.

Returns

At Spruce Place Woodcraft, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of every piece we create. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, eligible items may be returned within 30 days of delivery for review and approval. Returns requested beyond this timeframe may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.

 

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs; however, we are happy to assist in coordinating shipping and logistics whenever possible. All returned items are carefully inspected upon receipt and must be returned in “like new” condition. We reserve the right to assess repair or refinishing charges for any items returned with damage, excessive wear, or misuse.

 

Due to the personalized nature of made-to-order furniture, custom commissions and special-order items are non-returnable and non-refundable.
